I literally finished this book in 2 sittings, which says a lot because it once took me an entire year and 3 months to finish a book. I just wasn’t as dedicated, okay?! This is the first novel I’ve read that was written by Mary Kubica, but it won’t be my last.
A quick summary of the book: Pretty Baby focuses on a woman named Heidi who lives in Chicago and works at a non-profit.… [ VIEW POST ]

The Simply Stylist Conference in LA
I recently attended the Simply Stylist LA Conference on the Grove Rooftop. The conference hosted panels and break-out sessions with well-known fashion/beauty bloggers and business owners as the speakers. Some of my favorites were Lauryn Evarts from The Skinny Confidential, Sazan Hendrix, Gina Ybarra from Hunt For Styles, Audrina Patridge, and Becca Tilley. I was able to connect with a ton of influential women and men in the industry. There were also 20+ Pop-Up Shops at the conference that gave away free samples and products, including Topshop, Nekter Juice Bar, Bloglovin’, Planet Blu, Kate Somerville, Bless Box.… [ VIEW POST ]
“Her Perfect Life is a Perfect Lie.” – Luckiest Girl Alive

While I personally have never read the book Gone Girl, a lot of reviews say this book is just as addictive. The main character is a girl named Ani Fanelli who experienced a large amount of public humiliation back when she was in high school. … [ VIEW POST ]
